Who is Reconciliated Truths?
Hello there.
Hello there. My name is Matthew. I am a believer in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. His blood having paid for our sins, and His perfect faithful obedience became the absolute righteousness before (Yahweh) God our Father, for all mankind. I stand on the truth that God resurrected Him first from among the dead, and that He lives today in the heavens above the waters of our firmament.
I am an artist by profession, a husband, and a father. I was not raised religious, nor did I, or will I ever conform to it. I was the prodigal son in all the faults one would use to describe that parable Jesus once shared with His people in Israel. A problem-child in my youth, I was cast away for years to foreign lands halfway around the globe by my parents. I associated with the most troubled and problematic youth of my generation and was tried in more ways than one can count. Yet, I was filled with a deep internal love that I always default to, especially towards others who may treat me at their worst when it is least deserved.
I’ve dabbled greatly in theft, vandalism, assault, drug use, and hedonistic desires, and yet found out only through my worldly failures, God’s internal calling for me to realize who He truly is, and His only Son, Christ Jesus, who became sin for my sake in post-realization of my despair. It was through these hard trials, which brought much heartache, depression, anger, and massive failure through worldly consequences, that I was brought to the humble end of my egotistical human nature.
It is because of these failures that God has called me out through a friendly messenger to truly know Him. Not because of someone’s persuasive sales pitch in a church, on the street, or at my door, or online, let alone a debate. But because I knew that the world had too little to offer me, and I knew too little about God to have an answer when asked. The answers were never there in the world, though the ones only found were in experiential wisdom through life’s hardest lessons, only then, did I understand what the scriptures were saying when I came upon them with the earnest desire to truly read them.
Today, I live a quiet, isolated life amongst the world indulged in my own hobbies, and work. I seldomly participate in the busy rush of life. Not because I don’t desire to, I definitely still do, but more so because the less I do, the more I appreciate, and the more I love. The world is living in such great abundance that it often fails to appreciate what it truly has to offer.
Reconciliated Truths was born from this quiet place. It is simply my way of sharing the immense peace I’ve found in the finished work of the cross through the scriptures. I am not here to shout over the noise of the world or argue theology, but to offer a resting place for those who, like me, have reached the end of themselves and just want to rest in knowing the truth of God and His grace. All with the gifted realization that God loves you just the way you are.
Because everything that has to do with salvation through justification that will happen to you was already long ago counseled by Him to happen. Like me, you were not a mistake, a screw up, or neglected. You are everything God intended for this life on earth to become. Not all of the bad and evil things we have done. But for the sheer delight that you are to exist, live, and be loved with everyone and everything. I am only here to announce to you, that you will be reconciled back to Him. That’s the promise. I will only state as the character Morpheus tells Neo in The Matrix: “I can only show you the door. You’re the one that has to walk through it.”
May you realize that belief is simply a gift of acceptance from where you already are. And if not accepted now, know that there will be more life to come later.
My Approach: The Method of Grace
I believe the Evangel of the glory of the happy God is the most profound, liberating news in the universe. But I also believe that how I share this truth matters just as much as the truth itself.
The Apostle Paul warned that “knowledge puffs up, but love builds up” (1 Corinthians 8:1). For too long, the beautiful truth of the conciliation of all mankind has been weaponized by religious men who only understand it according by their traditions. It has been used to mock mankind through confusion, spark endless debates, and build arrogant, combative platforms, and echo chambers of applause.
At Reconciliated Truths, I completely reject the combative approach to theology. I believe that if the message is truly grace, the method of delivering it must also be grace.
When navigating this site, you will find that I am governed by a specific set of Pauline boundaries:
1. I choose gentleness over aggression.
Paul commanded that “a slave of the Lord must not be fighting, but be gentle toward all” (2 Timothy 2:24). I will never use mocking, abrasive sarcasm, or aggressive shock tactics to make a theological point. The truth of God’s universal salvation does not require bullying to be effective.
2. I value peace over winning debates.
I refuse to participate in “stupid and crude questionings” that only generate strife and heavy pressure of conscience. My goal is to help believers achieve a clean conscience and a quiet life, not to win endless theological arguments. If a conversation costs us our peace, I will simply walk away.
3. I refuse to mock the blind.
I believe that God is the only One who opens eyes to the truth, and He does so in His own perfect timing. If mainstream religion does not yet see the uncompromised Evangel, I remember that “we also were once foolish, stubborn, and deceived” (Titus 3:3). I will not calumniate, ridicule, or look down on those who are still waiting for God to grant them realization.
4. I rest rather than strive.
I am not trying to build a religious empire, convert the masses through pressure, or force a spiritual awakening. I rely on the living God, who is the actual, successful Savior of all mankind (1 Timothy 4:10). Because God already has the final outcome completely handled, we are free to simply rest, share the good news when asked, and live our quiet lives.
The Invitation.
If you are exhausted by the fear, the gatekeeping, and the endless performance required by religion, you are welcome here. I am not here to sell you a new set of rules or drag you into a theological culture war. Or to sell you a product based on the scriptures. I am just here to announce that the war is over, God is completely at peace with you, and you are allowed to rest.
