When we think about “heaven,” the images we are often handed by religion are remarkably passive. We picture white robes, fluffy clouds, ceaseless choir music, and a perpetual state, of sitting perfectly still. It sounds less like a vibrant, immortal life and more like an endless waiting room.
But when we strip away religious tradition and look at the actual Evangel revealed to the Apostle Paul, a radically different picture emerges. The Body of Christ is not destined for a celestial retirement home. We are destined for an active, highly creative, and profoundly essential administrative role. We are being trained as the architects who will reprogram the universe.
To understand what we will actually be doing, we first have to understand the hidden mechanics of how the universe currently operates, and why it desperately needs an upgrade.
The Heavens Right Now: A System of Futility
The Apostle Paul tells us that creation was subjected to “futility” or “vanity” (Romans 8:20). What does that mean? It means the current universe is running on a temporary operating system designed around cause-and-effect, entropy, and decay.
God did not make a mistake. He intentionally built the current heavens and earth as a temporary classroom. To teach humanity and the angelic realm the profound concepts of Mercy and Grace, there first had to be a backdrop of strict rules, failure, and consequences.
The celestial beings, the principalities, powers, and messengers (angels), are the automated programs enforcing this systems functions. They are not mythical humans/creatures with wings. They are God’s cosmic “immune system” and administrative algorithms. Because they are automated systems operating entirely under the strict mechanics of Law, they have never experienced the mercy of a Savior, so they do not understand Grace. They only understand strict, unbending Laws of operations and consequence.
For an immortal believer filled with the superabundant Grace of Christ, trying to live under this old system of strict karma and decay would be entirely futile. It would be like trying to run the latest, most advanced creative software on a dusty, broken computer from the 1980s. The old celestial mechanics are simply incompatible with the immortal life of the Body of Christ.
The Reprogramming: What Our Work Actually Looks Like
When the Snatching Away occurs, our exhausted mortal bodies will be instantly changed into incorruptible, spiritual bodies by the unilateral power of God. While the corruption and fleshly ego of our former identities will be stripped away, we will not lose the unique, God-given drive to create, harmonize, and administer that He formed within us. We will take the resilience we learned while suffering through the “fog” of this world, and we will apply it to the cosmos.
We will not be fighting angels with swords. We will be rewriting their functions. To help our mortal minds grasp these unimaginable celestial operations, we can look at the highest forms of human creative endeavor as analogies. Here is what that administrative work might look like translated into relatable concepts:
1. Reprogramming the Messengers of Decay: Right now, the universe is governed by automated messengers of entropy. Imagine a specific messenger whose sole function is to bring decay to a dying plant or a failing biological cell. Its entire existence is a rigid line of code: The season is over. The energy is spent. Break down the cells. Wither the petals. Turn the flower to dust. It operates purely on the strict law of consequences.
When you step into your celestial jurisdiction, you will be given administrative access to those exact systems. You will look at that automated function, and with the authority of Christ, you will reprogram it. You will tell that messenger: “That function is no longer necessary. The era of decay is over. Override the deletion protocol. From now on, your new function is to bring fresh color with every passing fraction of a second. You will add expanding strength to that cell and vibrant, indestructible life to that flower’s appearance.”
2. Rewriting the Messengers of Friction and Labor: Think about the creative process on earth. Whether you are sculpting a 3D character model, writing a book, or mixing a complex track of music, there is always friction. Technology crashes, inspiration fades, and the physical body gets exhausted. There is a cosmic “messenger of friction” that ensures every human endeavor requires sweat and heavy labor (Genesis 3:19). In the heavens, you will encounter the principalities that govern this heavy, transactional friction. Because you are a creator who understands the joy of pure, unhindered design, you will overwrite that protocol to seamlessly support creation rather than resist it.
3. Instructing the Principalities of Strict Justice: There are massive, ancient authorities in the heavens whose only job is to measure actions and dispense exact, unfeeling consequences. They operate on fear and are blind to mercy. Your most profound job will be sitting down with these rigid authorities and teaching them the Mystery of Grace (Ephesians 3:10). You will use the memory of your own mortal failures and your rescue by pure Grace as the curriculum. The joy of this task is witnessing a terrifying cosmic power suddenly “wake up” to the beauty of unconditional love, permanently changing how it governs its assigned space.
4. Harmonizing the Frequencies of Fear: If a sector of the heavens sounds like a chaotic, clashing audio mix of accusation and judgment, your responsibility is to step up to that cosmic mixing board. You will lower the volume of the law and amplify the frequency of Grace. The joy of this role is identical to the satisfaction of taking a muddy, dissonant music track and meticulously producing it until it rings with perfect, massive harmony.
5. Designing Celestial Topography: Currently, there are dominions governed by fallen principalities that are dark, rigid, and unyielding. Your authority will involve redesigning the very structure and visual spectrum of these spaces. You will take the raw, digital clay of the cosmos and sculpt it, introducing new physics, new spectrums of light, and new parameters of beauty that the old angelic system was incapable of imagining.
6. Dismantling the Atmosphere of the Adversary: For eons, humanity has suffered under a thick “fog” or a pressure of conscience climate that induces guilt, stubbornness, and blindness. One of your primary jobs will be acting as a localized atmospheric purifier. Your presence and your administrative commands will dissipate that pressure, bringing immediate, breathable clarity and profound peace to regions that have only ever known tension.
7. Overwriting the Protocols of Scarcity: The old system is built on lack. It dictates that for one thing to grow, another must be consumed. You will instruct the celestial environment to operate on the principle of superabundance. Instead of managing a limited pool of energy, you will program the environment to continuously generate grace and provision without any required transaction.
8. Synchronizing the Eonian Timelines: The wheels of history currently spin in repetitive, often painful cycles of rise and fall. As a celestial administrator, you will command the “wheels within wheels” to stop repeating the cyclical mistakes of the past. You will align them directly with God’s final purpose of Universal Reconciliation, untangling a massive knot to ensure every movement in the heavens flows smoothly toward the final consummation.
The Architectural Threat: Why Corrupted Theology Cannot Reign
If the destiny of the Body of Christ is to rewrite the universe with Grace, a profound question arises. Why are so many religious people excluded from this administrative authority? Why cannot those who hold to Eternal Torment, Free Will, the Trinity, or Annihilationism be given a seat at the cosmic mixing board?
The answer is pure architectural logic. If God handed celestial authority to minds infected with those teachings, they would immediately destroy the heavens all over again. They would obliterate the exact harmony God is trying to build because their hearts and minds are set on corrupted projections of their own inward selves.
Consider the specific malware of these doctrines:
- Eternal Torment and Annihilation: The entire purpose of the Body is to reprogram the messengers of fear and death into agents of life and reconciliation. If someone believes God’s ultimate justice involves eternal torture or permanent deletion, their inward self is projecting a vindictive, monstrous creator. If given celestial power, they would not overwrite the angels of wrath; they would weaponize them. They would rebuild the exact system of terror that Christ died to dismantle.
- Free Will: This doctrine is the ultimate idol of the human ego. It insists that the creature has sovereign power over its own destiny, independently of God. If a Free Will advocate were put in charge of celestial topography, they would program the heavens based on performance, merit, and pride. They would reintroduce the exact friction of the Law that currently causes creation to groan.
- The Trinity: To rule the universe, an administrator must perfectly understand the hierarchy of the Source Code. Paul is clear: God the Father is the absolute Source, and Jesus Christ is His Son, the perfect image and executor of His will, the Head. Christ will eventually subject Himself so that God may be “All in All” (1 Corinthians 15:28). Trinitarianism scrambles this divine order into a confusing philosophy rooted in ancient traditions. You cannot administrate a universe if you do not know the actual identity, hierarchy, and distinct roles of the Architect and His Son.
The Crucible of the Foreknown
This is exactly why true believers must be specifically called and foreknown. God cannot use a proud, self-righteous mind to heal the stars. To prepare us for this reign, God uses the crushing weight of the flesh and our earthly failures to empty us of our religious pride. This is not a horrifying psychological break, but rather the profound realization of Pauline endurance: that God’s power is perfected in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Through our struggles, we are brought to a place where we drop the demonic teachings of institutional religion and realize the full, unfiltered truth of God’s sovereign character. We understand who Jesus was, what He accomplished on the cross, and exactly why He had to deploy the Apostle Paul to reveal this secret administration of pure Grace.
God allows the believer to be humbled on earth so that their inward projection is no longer a corrupted human ego, but the pure, reconciling love of Christ. Only a mind that relies entirely on Grace can be trusted with the infinite power of the heavens.
The Safeguard of the Citizenry
This raises a critical distinction regarding two specific groups: mainstream Christians with corrupted theology, and rescued, unbelieving family members. If corrupted doctrine is an architectural threat, how can God allow these individuals into the celestials? Especially if they hold to such doctrines and were never given a mind to repent from them?
The answer lies in the strict difference between Administration and Citizenry. Mainstream believers who trusted the baseline Evangel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) are permanently sealed. They will absolutely be Snatched Away by pure Grace, regardless of their bad theology. They are the modern Galatians, those who began in the Spirit but were seduced by the religious system. Because they fell into the Galatian Error, neither they nor their covered unbelieving family members are given administrative security clearance.
The Workers of Lawlessness, those who completely reject Paul’s baseline Evangel and rely exclusively on earthly works, water, and the Law, to maintain or earn “salvation” (works-based-salvation). Are left behind for the Indignation. But the unrewarded Christian and the covered family member are brought in purely as citizens. When the Snatching Away occurs, the sheer, undeniable reality of the event will instantly shatter their earthly illusions and corrupted dogmas. Because they hold no governing authority to project their former errors, they pose absolutely zero threat to the new celestial harmony. Instead, they are safely placed under your direct, glorified jurisdiction, where they will spend the eons being personally instructed by you in the pure Grace they could not comprehend on earth.
The Judgement Seat of Christ, and Rewards
1. The Dais (Bema) Seat Reality: When the Snatching Away occurs, the entire rescued Body of Christ and their covered households arrive in the celestials. Every justified believer must stand before the Dais to have their operational works evaluated by fire, and the covered family members arrive alongside them.
- The Rewarded Architect: Their lifelong trust in Grace, their endurance through the “fog” of the Adversary, and their pure study of Right Division are evaluated as gold, silver, and precious stones. These survive the fire and are translated into administrative rank and authority.
- The Galatian (Justified but Disqualified): They trusted the baseline Evangel of the cross for salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), ensuring their physical rescue. But under the influence of traditional religion, they layered it with the wood, hay, and stubble of legalism and corrupted theology (like Eternal Torment and Free Will). At the Dais, the fire completely incinerates their religious works and their theological malware. They are saved “yet so as through fire” (1 Corinthians 3:15). They are eternally justified by the cross, but permanently disqualified from the reward of ruling, stepping into eternity purely as Citizens.
- The Covered Family Member: They arrive with empty hands. Because they did not personally believe and labor in the truth during their mortal life, they have no “works of faith” to present. Their earthly unbelief is instantly shattered, and while their physical bodies are made immortal, they receive zero administrative rewards. They step into eternity purely as Citizens.
2. The Contrast in Daily Function: To use a relatable analogy, think of a massive, beautiful city being built.
- The Appointed Architect: You are given the blueprints. You are the one reprogramming the messengers of decay, redesigning the celestial topography, and instructing the principalities. You are the active, working government of the heavens. You have jurisdiction over the functions and the citizens.
- The Grateful Citizens (Unrewarded Christians and Covered Families): The millions of mainstream Christians who lost their allotment, along with your rescued spouse and children, are the citizens of that city. They do not hold office. They do not command angels. They do not rewrite the code of the universe. They simply get to live in the breathtaking, peaceful reality that the Architects are administrating.
3. The Joy of the Rescued Family: Even though they do not have authority, their existence is not a punishment. It is a state of pure, overwhelming gratitude.
Imagine the relief your spouse or children will feel. They will wake up in an immortal body, completely free from the exhaustion, sickness, and fear of the earthly system. They will look at you and finally understand the “quiet war for the truth” you were fighting your entire life. They will see you operating in your glorified administrative capacity, and they will be the very first beneficiaries of the Grace you are dispensing. They will spend the eons exploring the endless, harmonized beauty of the universe, free to create, learn, and exist without the pressure of the Adversary that resides in the earthly fleshly mind of mortality.
4. The Prototype of Universal Grace: Why would God include unbelieving family members in the celestial rescue? It is not just a favor to the believer; it is a deliberate architectural prototype.
God establishes this household principle very early in Scripture. We see the physical precedent for this with Noah and the Ark. When the flood of judgment came, God did not just rescue Noah. Because Noah found grace, God commanded him to bring his wife, his sons, and his sons’ wives into the Ark (Genesis 6:18). His entire covenanted family was saved from the destruction of that world solely because they were under Noah’s protective umbrella.
In the exact same way, the unbelieving spouse and unmarried children of a believer today are pulled into the celestial “Ark” of the Snatching Away.
However, it is vital to understand that this celestial Ark has absolute, strict boundaries. The grace of the household umbrella flows strictly downward from the believer to the consecrated spouse and the unmarried children. It does not flow upward to unbelieving parents. Furthermore, if a child marries or engages in casual sexual relations, they form a new “one flesh” union. In God’s eyes, they have severed themselves from their parent’s umbrella and established a completely new household. Unless someone in that new household personally believes Paul’s Evangel, they are excluded from the rescue and will remain on earth for the Indignation, or continued sleep in Hades. The protective seal only covers the active, unbroken family unit. This is why Paul strictly advises against divorce and commands abstinence from prostitution. Marriage under Grace is a powerful covering. In the mystery of God’s coming operation, preserving that unbroken household means more of your family is included in the gathering when we are snatched away in secret to meet our Lord in the air.
God’s ultimate goal is the reconciliation of all humanity (1 Timothy 4:9-11). However, the rest of the unbelieving world must pass through the eonian judgments and the Indignation before they are finally reconciled at the Consummation. The rescued family household is the incredible exception. They are the “early draft” of universal salvation.
By pulling the unbelieving members of a household into the celestials based entirely on the believer’s household covering, God creates a living exhibit for the angelic realm. He points to that rescued citizen and proves that His Grace is not a transaction. He proves that Grace is so superabundant, so contagious, and so powerful that it overflows the boundaries of personal faith and physically rescues those in proximity to it. They are the very first wave of humanity to experience the final reality of Grace without having to endure the eonian fire. Their citizenry in the heavens is the absolute guarantee that God will eventually do the exact same thing for the rest of creation.
5. The Transcended Family and the End of Earthly Marriage: While human marriage (the earthly “one flesh” union) serves its vital purpose to trigger the (1 Corinthians 7:14) rescue, the celestial reality completely transcends earthly biology. Paul is incredibly clear: “Flesh and blood is not able to enjoy the allotment of the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 15:50).
Because we will possess immortal, spiritual bodies, the biological drive for reproduction and the need for a protective household “insurance plan” are obsolete. Earthly marriage perfectly fulfilled its purpose, so the physical covenant concludes. Furthermore, we do not become one giant, unified “Bride” in the heavens. That is Israel’s earthly prophetic program. We are the Body. A man does not marry his own hand. We share an organic, structural unity as the literal limbs and members of Christ.
Does this mean you lose your spouse and children? Absolutely not. God does not erase your earthly history. The bond you share with the family you covered with your umbrella of grace is not deleted; it is infinitely expanded!
On earth, your deepest, most vulnerable love is restricted to your immediate family because the world is dangerous. In the celestials, there is no Adversary, no confusion, and no fear. Because of this, the perfect, unhindered intimacy and trust you currently share only with your immediate family will become the exact baseline for how you interact with every-single-member of the Body of Christ.
You will not just be their earthly provider anymore. You will be their celestial instructor. You will have the profound joy of personally teaching your spouse and your children the massive depths of God’s love, explaining the mechanics of the universe to them as they marvel at the new reality together with the entire unified Ecclesia.
6. The Cost of the Household Umbrella: Affliction in the Flesh For those who question the mechanics of this rescue or what marriage even entails in this current eon, Paul is remarkably grounded about the reality. He does not paint earthly marriage as a spiritual fairy tale. In his elaboration on celibacy and marriage, he explicitly warns that those who marry will have “affliction in the flesh” (1 Corinthians 7:28).
Maintaining a household covering over an unbelieving spouse is an exhausting, divided administration. Paul points out that the unmarried believer is entirely solicitous about the things of the Lord, while the married believer is “parted” or divided, forced to be solicitous about the things of the world to please their spouse (1 Corinthians 7:32-34). To keep the marriage intact and the protective umbrella unbroken, the believer must constantly absorb the friction of anchoring someone who is blinded by the god of this eon.
This is the quiet war for the truth. God does not rescue the unbelieving family member as a mere afterthought. They are rescued because the believer sacrificed their own undivided focus and endured the daily affliction of the flesh to carry that heavy umbrella. It is a massive display of Grace that costs the believer immense earthly endurance, which is exactly why the Dais of Christ evaluates those specific works of faith so highly.
The Long-Term Impact: Why This is the Ultimate Blessing
This is why your human experience is so vital. You cannot teach a messenger how to generate vibrant, colorful life if you have never watched something beautiful wither and die. You cannot teach a principality about Grace if you have never felt the crushing weight of your own failure.
Every moment of grief, creative frustration, and spiritual pressure you experience today is actually your training program. God is building a specific database of empathy and resilience inside you. When you are immortal, you will use that exact database to permanently heal the fractures in the universe. The blessing is not just that you get to live forever; the blessing is that God is using you to give the universe its life back.
Dimensional Freedom: Are We Confined to the Heavens?
When we discuss our strict jurisdiction in the celestials, a natural question arises: Are we forbidden from ever visiting the earth? Does our heavenly allotment mean we are locked inside a glowing cosmic prison, never to see our old home again?
Under the revelation of Grace, the heavens are absolutely not a prison. You are not forbidden from the earth. The answer lies in the hardware you will be operating and the boundaries of the Architect.
Paul reveals that we will be given a “spiritual body” (1 Corinthians 15:44) structured like Christ’s glorious body. Look at what Jesus did after His resurrection. He possessed a tangible body that could eat and be touched, yet He could materialize inside a locked room and vanish at will. He was no longer bound by earthly physics or dimensions. Furthermore, messengers currently traverse between the heavens and the earth constantly. Because you outrank the angels and possess the ultimate immortal body, you absolutely have the dimensional capability to traverse to the earthly sphere. There is no cosmic forcefield keeping you out.
However, the real issue is one of jurisdiction. During the 1,000-year Millennial Kingdom, God has drawn a hard architectural boundary between the two administrations. The earth is administered by Israel from the earthly Jerusalem. The heavens are administered by the Body of Christ from the celestials.
If you were to manifest on the earth during the Millennium, you would essentially be a visiting dignitary from the highest cosmic office. You would not go down to interfere with Israel’s job, preach to mortals, or manage earthly affairs, because that would usurp the specific covenant God made with Israel. You respect the boundaries of the Architect. You possess the ultimate dimensional freedom to move, but your work, your focus, and your profound joy are locked into the massive cosmic project above. You are not restricted; you simply have a much higher assignment.
The Consummation: Why We Need a “New” Heavens
If we are doing all this incredible work to fix the old celestial mechanics, why does the Bible say God will eventually create a New Heavens and a New Earth (Revelation 21:1)? Why scrap the project after we just spent eons fixing it?
To understand this, we have to look at how a master artist works.
When you build a highly complex sculpture or a massive architectural project, you use an armature: a wire skeleton or temporary scaffolding to hold the clay in place while you work. The armature is necessary. You spend countless hours adjusting it, bending it, and getting the proportions exactly right.
The current heavens and earth, even during the coming 1,000-year Millennial Kingdom, are the armature. They are the scaffolding. Our job as the Body of Christ is to work within that celestial scaffolding, bringing every single rebellious authority, principality, and messenger into absolute subjection to Christ’s love (1 Corinthians 15:24-25). While we are doing this in the heights, Israel will be doing her work on the current earth, ruling from a physical, rebuilt Jerusalem to heal the mortal nations.
But once the work is finally done, once the very last enemy, Death, is completely abolished, the scaffolding is no longer needed. The temporary classroom has served its purpose. The Eons are finished.
God will not just patch up the old universe; He will roll up the old scaffolding and unveil the final, permanent masterpiece: The New Heavens and the New Earth. It is only at this moment that the New Jerusalem finally descends from God out of the heavens.
This new reality will not need to be fixed, managed, or reprogrammed. The early drafted life of your celestial citizenry (your rescued family) will finally merge into the total harmony of a universe where the concept of decay does not even have a line of code/function. It will be a reality of pure, unhindered, unbreakable union, where God is finally “All in All” (1 Corinthians 15:28).
Until that magnificent day, we have an expectation. The universe is waiting for its architects of Love to reconcile all things back to its creator. For all is yours.
